Art and beauty, especially in nature, help me to understand life and the forces at play. That helps me to visually express how I perceive the relationships around me.

I have mostly lived close to nature, such as on the edge of a forest, or close to a river, a lake, or the ocean. I have lived across Canada, from the East Coast, to up North, and for many years now, in Prince George, British Columbia. I feel a strong kinship with wild places, and with the animal and plant life which I share space with.
